2023 Jimmy Fund Walk
After weeks of holding garage sales, the Charity Group raised and donated US$1,000 in honor of the American Wisdom Association to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The group also participated in the Jimmy Fund Walk. The temple would like to thank the Charity Group and fellow buddhists who contributed the charitable items for sale.
2023 Turkey Earthquake
An earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred in southern Turkey. The intensity shook areas bordering northern Syria, and the number of casualties continued to increased. Wisdom Temple helped Tzu Chi USA to bring awareness and raise money to support Tzu Chi Foundation in their humanitarian aid to Southern Turkey.
