The Great Compassion Repentance

The Great Compassion Repentance was adapted from《千手千眼觀世音菩薩廣大圓滿無礙大悲心陀羅尼經》. The author was Venerable Zhili, who was a reincarnation of Shakyamuni Buddha’s son, Râhula, from the Song Dynasty.  The Great Compassion Repentance includes chanting of the “Great Compassion Mantra” multiples of 7 times and executing the rituals within the “Great Compassion Confession” which includes making offerings, confessing, repenting, contemplating, transferring of merits, and seeking three refuges. By taking part in the Great Compassion Repentance, one will benefit not only themselves, but also their families and friends, both living and deceased.
